Abstract

Abstract Few adolescent reproductive health programs monitor who they reach. Staff from thirteen peer education and youth club programs recorded details of their contacts. The majority of beneficiaries were boys (58 percent) and were in school (78 percent). A considerable percentage were outside the target age. Programs should monitor who they are reaching and who they are not, and should target underserved youth, especially girls, and those who are younger, out of school, and married.
