Result and Discussions:
As a result, the impact of a Baduanjin Qigong exercise programme on sleep quality in chronic insomnia patients is investigated in this research. The study's participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: experimental and control. Baduanjin exercise will be given to the treatment group, while Pharmacotherapy will be given to the control group. The Insomnia severity index of patients was assessed after 12 weeks of therapy. Finally, the data is statistically examined using the Analysis of Variance and logistic regression models, including the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. In comparison with the control group, individuals in the treatment group had considerably overall better sleep quality, sleep length, and poor sleep, as well as fewer adverse effects. In comparison to pharmaceuticals, this research revealed that Baduanjin Qigong exercise programme may enhance quality of sleep in a safer and more cost-effective method with fewer adverse effects.
