Abstract

Background Squamous cell carcinoma is presently one of the most hazardous and fatal malignancies found predominantly in the oral cavity of patients with frequent smoking habits. Previous studies have shown the outbreak of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) relating to the high transience rate and subsequent loss of health and wealth. Aim This research paper targets the influencing factors and prognosis of early postoperative recurrence of oral squamous cell carcinoma. Materials and methods The study was done with the help of two government cancer clinics of Tanchon and Hamhung of North Korea. Thirty-two specific databases of the OSCC patients were created in accordance with their conditions. 895 patients (with a mean of 35 years of age) were selected after taking their consent and reviewing their files for any possible medical history. The study was done from 22 May 2019 to 26 August 2020. The data which were collected during the test were analysed for coinciding with the objective of the paper. The data was then Calculated by the I2 test. Results Of the 32 databases taken for study, 12 were used for thorough analysis. The patients with higher malignant invasions were associated with tissue metastasis (OR 1.25-34.74), and inferior odds of persistence (OR 0.38). Conclusion The threat and pathology of OSCC can be explained with the help of this paper. The clinical aspects of OSCC in patients along with its severity study have been put forwarded in this study to get an overall view of the picture and paving way for future research works.
